VIDEO: Cary Williams Brawls With Riley Cooper at Practice

Sep 5, 2013, 12:31 PM EDT

We don’t know what this was about or why it happened — you will all undoubtedly guess. But your video of Riley Cooper and Cary Williams mixing it up is above.

Williams was lined up on Cooper, Williams jumped over Cooper’s back in coverage, the two went to the ground, and then began fighting once they got to their feet. Brandon Boykin broke up the fight and Michael Vick had to hold Williams back from Cooper as the receiver attempted to walk away.

Not in the video is owner Jeffrey Lurie, who was on the field watching the whole thing.

Worth note is that Williams was not publicly opposed to Cooper’s return to the team. He actually made some pretty level-headed comments on the matter, saying he believed Cooper “just made a mistake before questioning the word’s use in pop culture, specifically rap lyrics.

UPDATE: Williams isn’t talking, and Cooper said after practice that the fight had nothing to do with his racial slur from earlier this summer.

The music playing at practice is a nice touch. We didn’t even have to add that.

Cary may end up being an even worse CB signing than Nnamdi. He doesnt get along with the fans or his teammates and he hasnt shown a single thing yet to deserve the money.

Nick, tell Commiecast to turn autoplay off by default. Everyone else in Philly give people the option to click.
