VIDEO: Donovan McNabb responds to Shawn Andrews' claims: ‘Are you serious?'

Donovan McNabb responded yesterday to Shawn Andrews' claims that the Eagles quarterback was degrading towards him and spread rumors that really affected his time in Philadelphia.

McNabb was speaking on NBC Sports Radio and dismissed Andrews' claims as outlandish more so than actually responding substantively to any of the claims:

"For everything that I've been questioned for in Philadelphia and now you come out and say... you point the finger directly at me like I'm the one that ruined your career? Why would I want to talk bad about you to others out there and then question your sexuality? Does that make sense at all? And why is this coming out now? It's unbelievable. I just talked to a reporter from Philadelphia and I was like, 'Are you serious? Why don't you just talk to the rest of the teammates and find out what's going on.'"

As for McNabb wondering why this is all coming out now, I think the answer to that is clearly the Richie Incognito situation bringing bullying in sports to the front of the conversation in the sports world. That situation seems to have given Andrews the courage to speak out.
