Watch Eagles Draft Pick Earl Wolff Jump onto a 5-foot-8 Shelf

May 9, 2013, 1:00 PM EDT

This is not not impressive.

The Eagles selected safety Earl Wolf out of N.C. State in fifth round at 136th overall. Wolf’s mother was actually raised in North Philly, prompting him to say: “So, basically, I’m coming back home.”

Wolff stands 6-foot tall. That’s 72 inches. This shelf he’s about to jump onto is allegedly 5-foot-8, according to the YouTube video’s description. That’s 68 inches (maybe).

Now watch him jump onto it.

I don’t care how tall it actually is. Welcome home, Earl.

Instead of mindlessly transcribing the video description, take a half second to think about what you’re posting. If you did that, then you, no doubt, would have concluded that there’s no possible way he’s only 4″ taller than the shelf. Try 12″+.

Then he tucks his legs up another 24 inches, so he’s jumping about 36 inches, which is right around his vertical from the combine …. not a big deal.

Yeah. Jumping two legged to land like a whisper on top of a 5 foot shelf is really nothing. Move along. Nothing to see here.

I already like this guy more than Coleman.
