CSN's Tim Panaccio is reporting that the Flyers have signed JVR to a contract extension.
From JVR's Twitter: "Excited to sign a 6 year extension with the @NHLFlyers , love playing in Philly" and later added, "Want to thank mr snider and flyers management for treating me well and showing confidence in me #firstclassorganization"
