Game 17: Flyers at Carolina Hurricanes… No Bob Verse Boosh

Share

The Flyers are back at it tonight in Carolina after getting a win on Sunday against the Panthers down in Florida. The Orange and Black have had the Hurricanes' number over the past few seasons, with a 15-1-2 record over their last 18 meetings. They'll look to continue that dominance tonight with Sergei Bobrovsky in net.

Philadelphia has been playing well as of late and are unbeaten in regulation in their last six games (4-0-2). They roughed up the Hurricanes to the tune of 5-1 in their last meeting two weeks ago in Philly. That was the game in which Ilya Bryzgalov seemed to find his way out of the woods while giving Flyers fans some needed confidence in their new, expensive net minder. The G Line also went off in that contest but have seen some life from of the other lines as of late.

Bryz will rest tonight in place of Bob while Carolina will go with Cam Ward over former Flyer Brian Boucher.

Carolina (6-8-3, 15 its) has struggled a bit to start the season but are coming off one of their better scoring efforts of the season on Saturday when they beat the Penguins 5-3 to end a four-game skid.

7:00 start from down South. Back on CSN HD tonight after some less-than-optimal regular-D last night.
