Ilya Bryzgalov and Family Take in the Betsy Ross House

Now in Philadelphia and getting used to his new town, Ilya Bryzgalov and his family visited the Betsy Ross House on Arch Street. Said to be a fan of history and interested in learning more about American and Philadelphia history, Ilya was beaming while getting on a first name basis with Benjamin Franklin, learning what it means to carry the flag in battle, and just appreciating even the smallest details of the home of the American flag.

CSN put together a video of the trip, a funny set of clips that the Bryzerker hopes doesn't end up on Russian TV:

Kinda amusing to see him taking the iPhone shots that were popping up on his Twitter account yesterday afternoon, asking if he can put a colonial man's picture "on the computer."

At least before the team hits the ice and the weight of our expectations are placed squarely on Bryzgalov's shoulders, he seems like a fun guy Philly could enjoy quite a bit. Here's hoping the next video features him singing some metal like Silent Bob's cousin in Clerks.
