Is Claude Giroux heading to Europe to Reunite with Jaromir Jagr?

They really did seem to like each other. So why not keep a good thing going while they still can?

Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post is tweeting that Claude Giroux could be headed for Europe. Giroux's agent, according to the tweet, has his client has received "many" offers, but Isaac reports that he's hearing the choice is between HC Kladno is the Czech Extraliga or Avangard Omsk in the KHL.

The owner of the Klando team? That would be one Jaromir Jagr, who will also be playing on the club during the lockout alongside "current and former NHLers [like] Tomas Kaberle, Tomas Plekanec, Marek Zidlicky, Jiri Tlusty, Jiri Bicek, Jan Hlavac, Ivan Majesky and Pavel Patera," according to ProHockeyTalk.

Though, as PHT also points out: "The Jagr link also applies to Avangard. That’s where No.
68 played for three seasons before returning to North America in 2011."

Seems like Jagr might have had an even closer bond with G than many of us realized. How long until we get a European Vacation remake with those two? C'mon, you would watch it.
