When the Flyers face the Ducks in Anaheim tomorrow night, they'll see a familiar face behind the home bench. Fired earlier this week by the Washington Capitals, Bruce Boudreau's availability meant the end of Randy Carlyle's tenure as Anaheim's coach.
The team has fired Carlyle and given the reins to Boudreau, who was the fastest ever to reach 200 wins as an NHL coach. He will take over a Ducks team currently in last place in a very competitive Pacific Division.
Puck Daddy calls the move genius.
