JVR Shows His Love for Sixers After Game 7

One of the biggest positives from the Flyers first round victory over the Sabres was the play of James van Riemsdyk. JVR really stepped his game up in a big way in the playoffs, a tremendous sign for the potential impact this kid can have both now and in the future. His play on the ice aside, he also seems to have embraced the local sports scene in a great way -- a trait we Philadelphians always appreciate -- showing his love for the other team that plays in the Wells Fargo Center by rocking a Sixers cap following last night's game 7 win. Now only if one of the Sixers can have the opportunity to rock a Flyers hat after a game 7 playoff victory... [photo via @centericephilly]

One other quick note on Buffalo: Be sure to check out the Sabres Eulogy over at Puck Daddy which was written by the rapscallions over at Flyers Goal Scored By.
