The Flyers finish up their preseason schedule with a home-and-home series with the New Jersey Devils, the first of which takes place tonight at the Wells Fargo Center before finishing up on Saturday up the turnpike.
Tonight will be the first chance we get to see Chris Pronger on the ice with the 'C' on his jersey as the new captain is set to see his first action of the season. It's somewhat surprising to see Pronger in the lineup as most expected him to see the ice for the first time in the regular season, but perhaps seeing some game speeds -- even if preseason -- can help him gauge his where he stands.
Ilya Bryzgalov gets the start in net but Lavy says you may get to see some Bob this evening as well, per CSN's Sarah Baicker.

While it's still preseason hockey, these games have huge implications for guys like forward Matt Read who are fighting for a roster spot.
Plus, Prong Daddy's back! Which should at least make for some entertaining sound after the game.
