Today's date is December 19th. We're months away from pitchers and catchers reporting to Clearwater, Florida for spring training, but that doesn't mean there aren't still balls being tossed and gloves popping in Philadelphia this time of year.
Courtesy of the NHL's Adam Kimelman, via Matt Gelb, we're treated to this photo of what appears to be Roy Halladay getting a workout in at Citizens Bank Park as workers begin to lay the foundation for the Winter Classic ice rink that will be the center of the hockey world in just a few short weeks. According to Gelb, the former Cy Young winner is in town for a charity event.
