Sad Face: Awful Change Leads to Jersey OT Winner

May 3, 2012, 11:00 PM EDT

A poorly timed and executed line change led to the Devils OT game winner.

The Flyers certainly didn’t play their best game through the first three periods but they still found themselves in a position to win it in overtime. A couple of failed powerplays — way too damn cute on the last one — hurt them and an absolutely awful line change by Brayden Schenn and Erk Gustafsson put the game winner in the hands of Alexei Ponikarovsky off a big rebound off of Bryz.

Down 2-1 in the series.
