The Bryz Is Back, Flyers Host Jersey

Mar 13, 2012, 5:57 PM EDT

The Flyers are playing one of their most familiar rivals two days after they last faced them. Not sure there's a whole lot to add to the narrative in terms of a meaningful preview, but the good news is the home team will be a little healthier than they were on Sunday, when they got smoked. Kimmo and Voracek are back, though Meszaros and Kubina are still out.

The Flyers are playing one of their most familiar rivals two days after they last faced them. Not sure there’s a whole lot to add to the narrative in terms of a meaningful preview, but the good news is the home team will be a little healthier than they were on Sunday, when they got smoked. Kimmo and Voracek are back, though Meszaros and Kubina are still out.

Ilya Bryzgalov looks to add to his impressive shutout streak, having gone cold turkey on goal allowance for two straight games before getting a night off in Jersey. Previously overshadowed by stout defense and great goaltending, an offensive slump currently has the league’s best attack looking lost in the offensive zone.

We’ve seen the Flyers score at an exceptional clip this season, so there’s no reason to worry. The scoring will return. The good news is, the goalie stole them a few when they were down. Now how about everyone does their respective thing at the same time….

7:00 puck drop. TCN on the TV this evening.
