VIDEO: Fans at XFINITY Live! React to Flyers Goals During OT Winner in Pittsburgh

Apr 12, 2012, 9:06 AM EDT

The scene at XFINITY LIVE! for the Flyers overtime winner in Pittsburgh was spectacular.

The vibe at XFINITY Live! in South Philadelphia turned from somber to pure elation in the span of twenty minutes last night. Thankfully the joy was the final feeling of the evening and the NBC Sports Arena went ballistic. The venue already has to be one of the best spots in town to watch a big game. The atmosphere was fantastic.

One of the nice added touches aside from the plethora of televisions is having the Flyers PA announcers at the Wells Fargo Center, Lou Nolan, announce all of the penalties and goals as they happen. Pretty cool. Oh, and the DOOPing and perfectly timed playing of Mac Miller’s “Knock, Knock.” Watch video of that here.

Video editor extraordinaire Tom Finer spliced together the actual game footage of Jake Voracek’s game-winning goal with the reactions of fans at XFINITY Live! Enjoy.
