Back in August, we hoped that Philly's own The Roots would be the Winter Classic musical act. It looks like that wish has been granted, with Dan Gross saying they'll play, though he's not yet sure in what capacity. Questlove also let the cat out of the bag last night, posting a picture from the field, saying #winterclassic rehearsals, then one of Mayor Nutter standing over his kit with a caption saying he was in trouble for ruining the surprise.
