This outlandish Penn State-themed Christmas light display is going to cost a lot of money

At what point do you conclude that it’s reasonable pay thousands of dollars for a month-long electric bill?

When your football team embarrasses Wisconsin at Camp Randall.

This specific light display comes to us courtesy Onward State (via WithLeather).

They explain:

Penn State alumnus and superfan Bob Witt has outdone himself again this year. After winning over the internet (although probably not his neighbors) with this video of his Christmas light display synchronized to popular Penn State fight songs, Witt is back at it again this year with an even more impressive and Penn State-centered display.

This thing apparently makes use of some 45,000 lights.

WE ARE … pissing off Bob and Joann nextdoor for the way they passively-aggressively move our leaf bags back onto our side of the mailbox? Don’t even get me started on those bastards across the street. #ChristmasTalk

It’s Dec. 3 and I’m still waiting for my Advent beer box. Video:

    White People are the worst.

Am I the only one that thinks it’s not synched up very well?

    • Barry - Dec 5, 2013 at 10:46 PM

Yes, you are. Send a pic of your lights.

Would have been more appropriate with porn music.

Even with all those lights, he’s still completely in the dark about what happened in the showers.

That’s an awesome display of Lights. WE-ARE-PENN-STATE! How do I do this to my house? Well done and love the choreography with the fight song. We beat those badgers baby. 25 point underdog? HA!

There should never be a football game played at penn state ever again. An organizational cover up is disgraceful. I like this site but the fact that they post anything about penn state football is absurd. The amount of money this university made off of the disgusting tragedy they put kids through is terrible. There should never be another football game played at penn state and I smile knowing Joe paterno is burning in hell right now. Sick fucks the lot of ya.

You’re two years late with this.

      • willh888 - Dec 4, 2013 at 1:31 AM

i love the rambling-burny-faced women who try to shame anyone associated with the entire university.

Yea, man. I will never understand why people get so upset about CHILD RAPE. And the cover up of CHILD RAPE. Stop being so sensitive. It was just CHILD RAPE. And the cover up of CHILD RAPE by a bunch of high level, high paid employees of Penn State. Seriously, the CHILD RAPE happened years ago, just get over it. It’s like they don’t realize the real victims were the Penn State Football players who could not longer play in the Alamo Bowl against the 2nd best team in the pac-10.

      • BenE. - Dec 4, 2013 at 5:56 PM

I am against child rape. I’m just here for the Christmas lights, man.

” I smile knowing Joe paterno is burning in hell right now. Sick fucks the lot of ya.”

Try not to trip on the hypocrisy of that statement.

Organizational coverup? You must be reading a lot of reports published by Louis “Fact Freeh” …read the report before you post about an “organizational cover up.” NCAA reduced sanctions…any clue why? They’re about to be exposed for not having any fact base that supports the organizational cover up. Tragedy? Yes. Sick man? Yes. Children hurt beyond repair? Yes. Penn state covering this up? No.

    That is not 45,000 lights
That is not a dedicated display of blue & white for PSU,
It’s just using the “blue/white” LED program and omitting the other xmas colors
As Jason R wrote it’s not synched up very well at all

Does anyone else out there feel that throwing a Visa down for 2-3 grand on flamboyant-overkill automated LED programs and blow-uppy shit – then spending half a Saturday planting it on every inch of your lawn – has kinda jumped the Christmas shark? Hey Trans-Siberian-2004 just called….

    *grinch rant over
