Joe Frazier statue from 1971 Muhammad Ali knockdown gets Art Commission approval

You may recall the Joe Frazier statue that was set to be built hitting a bump in the road when its original sculptor passed away.

Good news for Smokin' Joe fans today as the new design received approval from the Philadelphia Art Commission.

"The sculpture will depict Frazier landing a left hook that knocked down Muhammad Ali during their 1971 title fight at Madison Square Garden in New York City," reports NBC10.
