UConn's Shabazz Napier, the American Athletic Conference's player of the year, took every conversation I've had about Saint Joseph's for the last four months and worked it into his NCAA press availability on Wednesday:
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- When UConn’s star guard Shabazz Napier was asked Wednesday about St. Joe’s freshman DeAndre’ Bembry, he didn’t know Bembry’s name or his number.
He just knew his hair.
“The freshman, right?” Napier said. “With the afro?”
