Temple Asks Canadian High School to Change Blatantly Ripped-Off Owl Logo

NBC 10 reports that Temple University has asked a Canadian high school to change its “mascot” — although they really just need to change the logo design — and the school has agreed.

The only noticeable difference — other than the color — is the addition of ears.

Kelowna Secondary School began using the symbol in 2002, after Temple had trademarked its image.

It’s not clear how the mascots ended up looking alike.
