CJ McCollum believes LeBron to Sixers a bigger chance than people think

LeBron James is coming to Philadelphia this week to battle the 76ers on playoff positioning.

But could he come to Philly in the offseason to sign with the Sixers? It's a move that has gained steam thanks to plenty of speculation and a few billboards.

Portland Trailblazers guard CJ McCollum believes there's a pretty decent chance of King James actually landing in Philly. He discussed the move on the debut episode of his new podcast, Pull Up with CJ McCollum. Via Slam:

"He’s always (been) calculated about his decision-making process going back to his youth. Ben [Simmons] is his young guy. Ben is a member of Klutch Sports, so that also could play a factor.

“Philly is in the Eastern Conference. LeBron has been fond of the Eastern Conference throughout his career on what seems to be his EZ-Pass to the Finals.

“I think it’s a bigger possibility than people think. I’m not sure if they have the space financially for that. Obviously, they have a lot of guys on rookie deals right now.

“But they would need to get some more shooters in there if they do want to bring Bron in.”

The Sixers' big game on Friday night against the Cavs will be the first of many huge games over the next few weeks that will help paint a picture of just how serious of a contender this Brett Brown-led team is and give LBJ an up-close look at the results of The Process to this point. Could LeBron be the next step in it?

CJ McCollum seems to think there's a real possibility.

As of about a month ago (March 9), the Sixers were the fourth favorite to land LeBron at +500 behind CLE (+250), HOU (+250), and LAL (+400). The Sixers have been on an absolute tear since then, however. So maybe that has changed a bit.
