Watch: Crazy buzzer beater goal that won Gophers spot in championship with less than a second left

You may have already read about the Evster and my experience at the Frozen Four last night at the Wells Fargo Center earlier this morning. It was a great recap. If you like recaps that are 80% made up, 10% facts, and 10% making fun of me.

For instance, the Evster called the second game a "total snoozefest," which was only partially true. It was a relatively boring game with no scoring until the final minutes. But then the final minutes were ACTION PACKED.

And there was a BUZZER BEATER GOAL. You don't see those everyday.

North Dakota was on a power play for the final minute and a half of action with the game tied at 1-1. Things looked bleak for the Gophers, just hoping to send the game to OT at that point.

Minny did a fairly good job killing the final penalty and there was a faceoff in their own zone with less than 10 seconds remaining on the clock. Just get the puck out of the zone and watch the clock tick down.

Not only did they get the puck out of the zone, they found themselves with the puck rushing down towards the other end. "No way they have enough time to get a shot... HOLY SHIT I THINK THEY JUST WON! Did that beat the clock? I think that beat the clock."

It beat the clock. It was a total stunner.
