  3. Video Reminder: It is Indeed Possible

    Dec 24, 2005, 10:23 AM EDT

A reader suggested this video as a tribute of sorts to Clarkey and his old team.  It’s a shame this hasn’t happened in… oh… the last 30 years or so.

  5. He Actually Made a 62 Yard Kick

    Dec 23, 2005, 12:05 PM EDT

The Eagles are doing everything they can to try and convince us they are just an average team.  I don’t want to believe it.  I think they are capable of being a good to great team.  At this point, they certainly are just an average team.  You could point to many things from yesterday’s loss:…

  6. Flyers Clean House

    Dec 23, 2005, 9:45 AM EDT

Bob Clarke resigned and Ken Hitchcock was fired.  I wouldn’t say I’m shocked that the Flyers, who are off to their worst start in over 15 years, cleaned house this weekend.  Out with the old, in with the new.  That’s how sports goes when losing spreads rampant.  (Except for maybe the Phillies, of course) While…

Acording to 6ABC’s website: During the game that started at 10am Sunday morning at Burholme Park, a father of a player started arguing with the…

Video of Donovan McNabb puking at the line of scrimage in the horrible loss today to the Tampa Bay Bucs.  Insert Chunky soup jokes here.

  9. We Are! Drunk Fools!

    Dec 20, 2005, 6:18 PM EDT

For the record: I never attended PSU.  This video was almost entertaining until the middle aged guy, who I’m assuming was telling all the college kids about his days as a CYO All Star, gets in the ring.  (via Fanhouse)

  10. We Talkin Bout Practice

    Dec 20, 2005, 10:41 AM EDT

Not the game… Practice.  (longer version here) With the Sixers season starting up in just about 10 days coupled with the lack of intersting sports news today, I thought we could all use a little practice. >>Full transcript of the press conference [SI.com] Ad:

  11. WATN: Endy Chavez & Scott Rolen

    Dec 20, 2005, 12:45 AM EDT

Yahoo Photos A couple of ex-Phillies rubbed shoulders last night.  While Endy Chavez’s simply amazing catch prevented a Scott Rolen home run, Rolen’s Cardinals took the series and earned the trip to play Detroit in the World Series.  It was a fun game to watch.  I’m glad I’m not a Mets fan today. I’m looking…

  12. That’s The Closest Bill Giles Will Get to That Trophy

    Dec 20, 2005, 12:05 AM EDT

Bill Giles was the "honorary National League Commissioner" or something to that affect last night in New York.  He presented the Cardinals with the Warren C. Giles trophy which is named after Bill’s father.  The trophy is awarded to the National League Championship Series winner. >>Warren Giles [Wikipedia]>>Giles and Vet go hand and hand [Phillies.com]
