It Looks Like the Phils Are Going to Try and Sneak a Wet Game In Today

I don't want to walk half a block to the coffee shop around the corner let alone sit outside and watch a baseball game all day long during this awful wet weather, but Ruben Amaro Jr. apparently says they're going to try and squeeze today's Business Person Special in.

Cliff Lee (0-1, 2.17) is your starter for the Fightins and he'll look to build off his solid first start back from the DL last week.

The Astros waited long enough to announce, but they'll be marching out already-wet-behind-the-ears 21-year-old Jordan Lyles to stand out in the rain. Lyles pitched in 15 games as a starter last season, finishing the year with a 2-9 record, 5.36 ERA and 1.415 WHIP. He's started just one game this season, a six-inning no decision aganst the Reds, in which he gave up three runs on four hits while K'ing five.

Basically it just looks like a really ugly and wet baseball game is going to be attempted.

If they get the game in, it will be the Houston Astros final game at CBP as a National League team.

Pass the umbrella.
