Let's Get Wild: Chooch Returns to Catch Doc While We Watch the Scoreboard

Share

Sure, we know the realistic chances of the Phillies actually making the playoffs are miniscule, but the fact that they're making it even remotely dreamable certainly has made this week a little more fun, hasn't it?

Carlos Ruiz is back in the starting lineup tonight and Roy Halladay is your starting pitcher. Let's get even crazier.

You have to like the pitching matchup this evening with Roy Halladay (9-7, 3.87) going up against right-hander Nathan Eovaldi (4-11, 4.44). Doc was real sharp in his last outing against the Reds in which he scattered 8 hits over 7.1 innings while striking out 5 en route to a 6-2 Phillies victory. Tonight will mark his 400th career game.

And with the return of Chooch to the starting nine, Charlie's lineup looks pretty decent for once, especially after Dom Brown destroyed a home run last night. My Brown faith rises with the tides.

Finally, the Fightins' can reach the .500 mark for the first time since way back on June 4th.

Charlie's Nine:

7:05 start per usual from CBP.

And let's do some Scoreboard Watching:
