Brutal Video: Celtic FC Player Knocked Unconscious at the Linc on Saturday

Share

A bunch of the Level crew were down at the Linc on Saturday afternoon to take in the friendly exhibition between Celtic FC and Real Madrid. The chance to see some of the world's best futbolers took a turn for the scary in the second half of play when young Celtic player Dylan McGeouch knocked skulls with a Real player in mid-air and his body went limp, falling to the ground. Fans feared for the worst as he lay unconscious on the ground; a serious injury is exactly the type of thing you don't want to see in an exhibition.

Celtic FC would later announce that he suffered a fractured jaw and will be able to return home with his club. Based on how scary the play looked at the time, I'd say that's relatively positive news.
