Former Temple star and Sixth Man of the Year for the Sixers Aaron McKie is in a little bit of trouble today, having been arrested by detectives in Montgomery County.
McKie is charged with falsifying forms when purchasing two handguns in Upper Moreland Township on April 8, Ferman said.
McKie is prohibited form owning firearms because the mother of his
child had filed an active protection-from-abuse order against him in
Delaware County Court.McKie is accused of failing to disclose the protection order when
completing a federal form that must be filed when purchasing firearms,
Ferman said.
McKie never really seemed like the PFA type to us, but then again, we only really knew his on-the-court persona, and that he was always giving nice tips to our friend Danny B, the Pat's Pizzeria driver in Havertown.
