Just when you thought things couldn't get much worse for the Fightins:
BOSTON - Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Brett Myers was arrested Friday and charged with assaulting his wife on a downtown Boston street.
Myers, 25, who was scheduled to pitch Saturday against the Red Sox,
got in an argument with his wife at about 12:20 a.m. at the corner of
Boylston and Dalton streets, according to David Procopio, a spokesman
for the Suffolk County District Attorney's office.
It is unclear whether Myers will miss his start on Saturday against Curt Schilling who was once somewhat of a mentor to Myers. What is clear is that Brett Myers has issues.
