The spring debuts keep rolling in and if you're a Phillies fan, they're all performances to get excited about. Yesterday it was Roy Halladay's first real game action. Today, it's Cliff Lee's turn as the Phillies face the Detroit Tigers split-squad at Bright House Field. [Phillies story lines and a live chat below]

- The interesting story out of Monday's game was the inning of work put in by former No. 1 overall draft pick Matt Anderson. Yes, he pitched one inning of scoreless work against a late-inning Grapefruit League lineup, but he certainly got the attention of the beat writers down in Florida. [CSN]
- Roy Halladay pitched two scoreless innings in his first spring start and is looking to be more consistent each time out. "I like getting back out there," Roy said. [CSN Video]
- Roy also said after yesterday's game that he is working on a few things this spring but won't reveal exactly what they are until he can determine if they work or not. Be scared, NL hitters. [Inquirer]
- One of Doc's mentors, the legendary Harvey Dorfman, passed away yesterday at the age of 75. [Inquirer]
- See our post from earlier this month on the importance of Dorfman in Roy's career.
