Eagles Lose Sheppard, McNabb

Donovan and Lito will have surgery in the next few days and are lost for the season according to NBC10:

Head coach Andy Reid said McNabb will have the operation sometime in the next
week, and most likely after Thanksgiving. All-pro cornerback Lito Sheppard will
also have surgery to correct an ankle injury and is out for the year, Reid said.
The loss of McNabb and Sheppard now means the Eagles have lost 20 players
from last February's Super Bowl team, including 6 players who played in the Pro
Bowl during their Eagles' careers.

Who will be added to the QB depth chart?  Perhaps Slash, the former Steeler, who has been warming benches for years now:

Reid said the team is looking for a veteran quarterback to replace McNabb on the
roster. The team is believed to be evaluating former Steelers quarterback
Kordell Stewart as an option.
