The Birds lost a sloppy one in the final minutes against the Cowboys, with Jason Witten setting up and then scoring the decisive touchdown to deliver a 14-13 Dallas victory. Andy Reid opted to play hardly anybody of note on either side of the ball, with only Jeremy Maclin, Owen Schmitt, and Max Jean-Gilles seeing any time at all, so it's a "meh" loss for the home team.
Meanwhile, in a game of some consequence, the Bears did what they could to keep their division rivals out of the playoffs, fighting tooth and nail with their starters the whole way. It was not to be though, and as a consequence, the Eagles will host the Green Bay Packers in the opening round of the playoffs. Reports are they'll meet Sunday at 4:30, and we'll have additional coverage of the match-up throughout the week.
