Even Their Lions Need Extra Protection Against Philly

Adorning statues with the colors of your favorite hockey team before a big playoff series hasn't always turned out so well. The Flyers obviously lost in the Stanley Cup finals in 1997 after William Penn wore a Flyers jersey and Canadiens' fans tried to turn Rocky into a Habs fan in 2008. Montreal fans were not happy after that series either.

The famous bronze lions outside of the Art Institute of Chicago heard that Flyers fans were coming to town this weekend so they thought it'd be a good idea to be protected.
