Former Eagle Sam Rayburn May Have a Drug Problem; New Eagle McCoy Gets His Own Month

Share

Sam Rayburn, the former defensive tackle who was released by the Eagles in May 2007, has been arrested for forging prescription slips in an attempt to get Percocet and Lortab. Hard to imagine a former NFL player being unable to forge an injury that requires these meds, but who knows.

Meanwhile, in current-Eagles news, LeSean McCoy had the entire month of May named for him yesterday in Harrisburg, where he was born. The running back played high school ball in his home town, went on to Pitt, and will start his pro career in Philadelphia. So, if you're too young to remember the days of Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire being the Bash Brothers and want to know how to get your own month, that's pretty much what it will take.
