Not exactly Operation Slapshot, but an article on today's PhillyBurbs.com claims they found $2 million in the Norristown home of former mayor Frank Rizzo's son-in-law.

Investigators recently searched the Mastronardo brothers' homes and a car and came away with more than $2 million in cash, Castor said.

Apparently people were getting beat too much for not living up to their end of the bet.

Investigators stumbled into a wider gambling probe after police in Souderton said they saw an increase in beatings that they believed were connected to a gambling ring.
