If you haven't seen SportsCenter today, you may have missed this clip of the Islanders' Chris Simon channeling his inner Todd Bertuzzi and going way over the acceptable hockey violence line. Simon gets leveled by the Rangers' Ryan Hollweg, gets up, and slashes Hollweg in the face with the shaft of his stick. Hollweg is ok (somehow), and the Rangers scored on the ensuing power play and won the game. It's a safe bet that Simon may not skate again for a while.
