Play has been suspended at the 2013 U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club due to the awful weather. As you can see from the photos, things are a bit muddy and fans are doing all they can to stay dry. That includes hiding out in the merchandising tents.
According to our man Nick Menta who is working hard covering the tourney from Merion, only 53 of 156 players actually made it to the course before play was suspended at 8:36 am.
