Looking for a Definitive Answer on Flyers Playoff Goalie? Don't Hold Your Breath

Sergei Bobrovsky had a rough start in net when the Flyers lost to the Capitals Tuesday night, a confidence-shaking follow-up to a confidence-instilling show in Dallas. That may seem fickle, but we haven't exactly had a goaltending situation to rest easy on in a long time. One guy who doesn't seem to have lost any confidence though is Peter Laviolette, and he says the same is true of the other players on the team. In the wake of the loss, Lavvy was happy with the team's performance and seemingly unfazed by Bob's tough start both as shown his postgame presser and an interview with Mike Missanelli on Wednesday. Although I'd categorize it as a very long "No comment" as pertains to the playoff goaltending question, it was entirely interesting and animated (in a good way). You'll have to listen for yourself to gauge what you think Lavvy will do come game one of series one, but here's a choice quote:

"We've gone with two goaltenders throughout the entire year. Our team sits at first in the Eastern Conference. We rely on four lines; we don't put one line out on the ice continuously. We have a good group of defense. We're built as a unit. We're not built based on one guy. We'll continue to play guys as their performance dictates."
