Different Eagles and EA Sports message boards are reporting that Donovan McNabb will be on the cover of the classic sports video game, Madden 2006.
This is supposedly an excerpt from the Sports Business Journal:
Another broadly marketed athlete will receive
one of the top endorsement honors in sports this year. Philadelphia
Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb, who had had as many as five national
TV ads for different brands running simultaneously, has agreed to terms
on a deal with Electronic Arts that will put him on the cover of Madden NFL 2006
— not only the top-selling sports video game in the United States, but
the top-selling video game of any kind in the nation. With EA’s new
exclusive deal with the NFL, McNabb will doubtless get the benefit of
amped-up marketing for this year’s game.
