Michael Carter-Williams leads all rookies in jersey sales, 15th among all NBA players

The Sixers are not a very good basketball team. In fact, they are rather bad.

It's also typically assumed that their fanbase is weak and unsupported when times are tough as judged by some low attendance numbers.

But how about this shocker...

The league released jersey sales numbers for October through December and get this: Michael Carter-Williams leads all rookies and is even 15th out of all NBA players.

Obviously, MCW's red hot start had a ton to do with this. Savvy NBA fans getting in on the ground floor of the MCW wagon that looks destined for stardom.

After missing the past couple of weeks with knee issues, Cater-Williams could return to action tomorrow night against the Nets.
