If the rains can hold off long enough, the Phils will send Jamie Moyer to the mound to close out the series with the Pirates. The Bucs will counter with Jason Davis, a veteran arm the Phillies have never faced. Davis was recently inserted to the Pirates rotation, and he has a 1-1 record and 2.57 ERA in four relief appearances.
Moyer looks to continue a string of brilliant pitching performances, both by the team and himself. He hasn't allowed more than three earned runs since June 1, and his ERA is down to a very respectable 3.78.
