Lost in the craziness of the NFL Draft this weekend, the Phillies went out and took a series from the Florida Marlins. Friday night's win may not have been pretty and Saturday's performance by Adam Eaton was pathetic, but Phils fans should take every series win we can get. It was capped off by a phenomenal outing from the ageless wonder. Jamie Moyer flirted with a no-hitter into the seventh inning and proved that Pat Gillick isn't completely inept.
The Phils start a ten games in ten days road trip tomorrow in Atlanta before they cross the country to San Francisco for a four game set before they finish up the trip in Arizona for three. These Atlanta games are big. Let's see how the Phils respond.
