The Internets can produce amazing things -- both amazingly good and amazingly bad. These pictures of Pat Burrell proposing to his new fiancee don't really fit into either of those, but they are quite interesting for a number of reasons. Perhaps I'm unqualified to comment on the topic of a marriage proposal, because the closest I have ever come to asking someone to marry me happened at about 4:30 in the morning on a Saturday night a couple of years ago at Delilah's. But I always thought a proposal to your future wife would be a very private and intimate moment. On the other hand, I'm a big fan of photography and documenting amazing moments in pictures. Maybe it was the perfect moment for both of them. Now they have her reaction documented for all eternity. For the purpose of art, it's unfortunate she didn't say no. THAT would have made for an amazing picture.
