Phillies in San Francisco Pictures

It is really pretty incredible that AT&T Park is where the Giants play 81 games a year.  It seems like a place you should only be allowed to go to on vacation.  The scenery isn't something I usually associate with baseball but I could certainly get used to it real fast.

The fans were better than I had anticipated.  Other than the fact that they are Barry Bonds apologists, I was fairly impressed with their attitude.  Some fans even gave us some free garlic fries.  I'll still be tasting them next week when I get back to Philly.  Perhaps my favorite find of the park was the churro.  Those things are great.  We are still trying to figure out what an "Express Restroom" is?

The Phillies offense was rolling for much of the weekend.  Ryan Howard seems to be avoiding the post HR Derby funk.  We saw Bonds hit his 721st HR but the picture to the right was taken before he hit it.  Besides Barry Bonds, San Francisco and the Giants are alright in my book.

One of the interesting conversations which came up during the game was whether or not you (being a Phillies fan) would throw back a HR hit by the Giants if you caught it?  My buddies claimed they would do so, even if Bonds hit it.  I'm not so sure I would do the same and definitely not if Bonds hit it.  I'd find it a lot easier to throw back a Ray Durham homer.
