The Phillies will try to follow up last night's extra inning excitement with another victory today as they face the Padres in a Saturday afternoon tilt at Petco Park. Joe Blanton (5-6, 5.32) takes on Jon Garland (13-8, 3.25). Blanton is coming off of his best start of the season in which he went seven strong innings but failed to get the decision against Brett Myers and the Astros earlier in the week.
