The sports powers that be kinda dicked us today, with a very important Phillies game starting in the odd 4 o'clock hour, same as the Eagles-Steelers game.
Today's rubber match couldn't be more important to the Phillies' playoff future. Fortunately, they'll have Jamie Moyer on the mound, and he's lost to the Marlins only once in his career (or, more accurately, their existence). Three of his 14 season wins have come against the Fish, who will counter today with Chris Volstad. Volstad is having a decent season, going 5-3 in his 12 starts, with a 3.07 ERA.
