Phils @ Cincy: COME ON JAMIE!

Man, we're really pulling for Jamie Moyer tonight. Not only is he still attempting to reach his 250th career win but he's simply trying to get his stuff in order. For lack of a better term, Moyer has stunk lately. If the Phils are going to remain a leader in the competitive NL East, they're going to need Moyer to get back to his winning ways.

Scott Lauber of the Delaware News Journal chatted with pitching coach Rich Dubee who says some of Grampa Moyer's location issues may be due to the weight of that milestone win hanging over him. Let's hope he can get over that hump tonight in Cincy and get back on track.

Lauber also has this fun fact about Moyer: "Great American Ballpark will be the 48th different stadium in which he has pitched, most among all active pitchers."

The Phillies are sticking with their recent line up that bats Raul Ibanez in the three hole as they face Aaron Harang who is off to a 3-4 start and a respectable 3.44 ERA in eight apperances.

In addition to his performance tonight, Moyer's foundation had a luncheon today in Seattle recognizing Cal Ripken for the Moyer Foundation Humanitarian Award. You can read more about the Moyer Foundation at their website.

First pitch tonight is scheduled for 7:10. Tomorrow's game is set for an early 12:35.
