As previously noted on theLevel, ESPN is now confirming that Rocky VI is indeed happening:
The 59-year-old actor will write and direct "Rocky Balboa," which will begin shooting in Philadelphia and Las Vegas next year.
Stallone told the Daily Variety trade magazine the movie will focus on an aging, widowed Rocky who is reluctant to get back in the ring but ends up doing it "just to compete, not to win."
Rocky will face Mason "the Line" Dixon in a battle to the death!

I'm pretty sure the plot touches lightly upon Balboa's son knocking up Mason Dixon's 16 year old daughter at the high school prom. Rocky freaks out and has anger management issues in which one of his episodes he beats up Adrian with uncle Paulie's wooden leg. To exact revenge upon her husband, Adrian sleeps with Ivan Drago, but it turns out to be a greased up Yakov Smirnoff.
