Ryan Howard was recognized yesterday in St. Louis for being the best offensive player in the National League this season and was awarded the Hank Aaron Award.
In the video linked below, Ryan thanks Century 21, those who voted, and Hank Aaron. He ended with noting, "this season was a blast, hopefully many more to come." Me too, Ryan, me too.
It will be interesting to see how Howard does going up against Albert Pujols for the league MVP trophy this year. If Howard ends up losing that battle, this Hank Aaron award will be a nice consolation.
