Ryan Howard Does it Again

The Phillies continued their success on the West Coast trip Saturday night with a 5-2 win over the Padres.  Ryan Howard came through in the clutch, a tie game in the top of the 9th, to deliver an RBI single to give the Phillies the go ahead run.  Trevor Hoffman struggled and the Phils ended up adding a few more off of the Padres closer.  Vincente Padilla pitched 7 strong innings without allowing an earned run.  I questioned Charlie Manuel's move of allowing Padilla to hit in the 7th with bases loaded and the Phils up by one run, but they came up with the win.  Padilla got robbed of the W when Urbina allowed the Padres to tie the game in the bottom of the 8th.  Wagner came in to get the save in the 9th after Fultz gave up a dinger.  The Phils will go for the sweep Sunday.
