As is customary with Phillies upon having been selected to the All-Star team, Shane Victorino wasn't shy with his choice of words near a live mic during last night's telecast. After a bad call on a stolen base attempt by the effin Hawaiian, Shane let loose on ump Jeff Kellogg.
Shane's family and the team probably aren't thrilled this caught air, but I'm sure most fans will agree that it's great to see that some players still care about the outcomes of the games as much as we do. A few million dollars, a World Championship, and a start in the All-Star Game won't change the sandlot fight that a guy like Vic brings to the table. First inning of the first game back from a nice trip to a world of adulation, team starting to pull away from a division that isn't in its league? Shane is fired up. This is the stuff that prevents collapses in the fall.
