Shocker: Lenny Dykstra Flying Into Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Share

It was less than a month ago when Lenny Dykstra told HBO's Real Sports that he was doing fine financially and "flying higher" with wads of Benjamins in his pockets. The New York Daily News reports today that Lenny has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the state of California.

"This
action will provide Mr. Dykstra time to reorganize his estate (and)
successfully challenge the multitude of meritless claims that have been
made against him."

Hackett, in his statement, described the
pending lawsuits as "parties who have attempted to steal his property,
breached material agreements with him or otherwise acted in bad faith."

There are lessons to learn through the Dude's trials and tribulations. First, never trust a former baseball player with your money. And second, never trust a flight attendant with anything. They're damn criminals.
